Rebuild of a Lenox Beloit winder at Jade-Pack GmbH successfully completed
Jagenberg Paper GmbH located in Krefeld, Germany, is an expert in the production and modernization of machines and plants in the paper industry. The company offers customized solutions to meet the requirements of customers globally.
Jade-Pack GmbH develops and produces fibre-based raw materials for sustainable packaging solutions. The company, based in Varel, Germany, supplies various industries and converters worldwide.
For several years, Jagenberg Paper has been the partner for the winder at Jade-Pack GmbH in northern Germany.
In order to prepare this important production machine for the future, a rebuild concept was developed together with the customer, which on the one hand increases the safety of the machine and on the other hand optimises the winding quality for the challenging grades. With the help of a new drive control paired with modern converters, the winder is able to wind any paper in a wide range of grammages to the desired quality in a repeatable manner.
The increase in safety according to the latest standards was subsequently approved by an external specialist company. The conversion was implemented in two stages in 2022 and 2023.
